Thank you Sandals for ruining the respect I had for you brand and renewing any skepticism I had for a large uncaring brand. And yet it shows I was only in Barbados for 4 days but they did take the all the 14000 I spent on that room right to there pocket and didn’t even give me the the 8 night’s credit. Well tried to book another $14000 usd vacation with sandals they now have no record of this and refuse to honor what we were told. That sounded great to hear they were so understanding.
The discussion to leave early was the assurance from both of them we could get a credit for 4 nights on a future stay, the manager even said she would extend it out 18 months. We immediately talked to front desk which the gentleman was very concerned ab compassionate as well as the manager of the resort thAt I spoke to on the phone that evening. The most disappointing experience was on Christmas Eve my wife and I were notified that her mother was dying. Entertainment was ok and sarvice was definitely like others have said hit or miss. Maybe just a bad night but service and food selected at Butchs Barbados side was not good.
The butler service was ok probably would not get it again at this resort, it didn’t seem as personal as the negril Butler experience. We had a great time on the E-bike tour and sunset cruise with Silvermoon. The resort is Beautiful, beach is great and grounds were impressive.
